Located in the Old Port since the summer of '89, Walter's searches the globe for bright menu ideas, creating dishes that fuse Asian, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and local influences with an emphasis on pasta and fresh fish. Whenever possible, Walter's uses local purveyors for produce, meats and seafood.

Walter's is hands-down the best place to get a fine dining experience on a whim. While reservations are accepted and encouraged, I have walked in on a number of occasions with a few friends or just my wife and they always come through for us.
My mom is a fish-eating vegetarian and insists that we go to Walter's at least once during their visits. My favorite dish on their menu has to be the Filet Mignon paired with Lobster and Stilton Macaroni and Cheese.
